Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKARIN SNIEZEK August 18, 1958 - July 18, 2001 Suddenly on July 18, 2001 Karin Sniezek passed away. Karin leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter Grace; father Frithjof; sisters, Linda (John, Jenna, Lee), and Sandra; brother Brian (Sue, Merrick) numerous aunts and uncles (Winnipeg, Germany, Switzerland) and her best friend Patti and family. Karin was predeceased by her mother and grandmother in 1999. Karin was a person with an enormous heart. She was not a very materialistic person and always put other peoples needs before her own. This was demonstrated in the way she treated everyone. During her lifetime she began collecting angels and porcelain dolls, a collection she was very proud of. Her greatest joy in the world was her daughter Grace. Karin was not only a mother to Grace, but also her best friend. Her home was always open to Graces friends. Karin was very artistic and creative. She would spend an incredible amount of time preparing and decorating for the festivities she threw for Grace and her friends. She was happiest making homemade decorations for Halloween, Graces birthday, and decorating her home especially at Christmas, which was her favourite time of year. She was our "Martha Stewart". Karin was a very hard and diligent worker and made the best with what she had. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 24 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to a trust fund on Graces behalf. Cheque payable to Freedom 55 Financial, noting ITF Grace S, or send to 18 Bounty Bay, Winnipeg, MB R3X 1Z2. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN ST. 338-7111
